Liyuan Chen Research Interests:
Biography Dr. Chen joined Graduate School of Education, Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2015. She is currently assistant professor at the Center for World-Class Universities and teaching Sociology of Education. Dr.Chen’s past research mostly focused onthe student’s choice of transnational higher education, and her current projects focused on theacademic profession in the context of building world-class universities, such as academic international mobility, research productivity, academic talent policy and index.Dr. Chen’s research has been supported by National Social Science Foundation of China and Shanghai Jiao Tong University Grant.She received a Ph.D. in Education from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2015. She obtained a M.S. in Higher Education from East China Normal University in 2012 and a B.S. in English Language and Literature from Nanjing Agricultural University in 2009, and has been a visiting scholar in University of California, Los Angeles in 2010. |
