Dr. Li LIU
Li LIU Li Liu is an Associate Professor at Center for Science & Technology Policy Graduate School of Education, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She holds a PhD degree in Managerial Science, specializing in Science & Technology and Education, and has a Master’s degree in Higher Education. She has been a visiting scholar in University of Toronto for more than one year.
Higher education policy and social sciences policy are among some of Dr. Li’s research interests. She has published research findings extensively in both Chinese and English: Her books The Exploration on the International of Social Sciences Research in China (in Chinese) and Tertiary Education at a Glance: China in 2010 (in English) was published in 2009 and 2010 respectively. With experience leading projects for China’s Ministry of Education and the government of Shanghai, Dr. Li is currently in charge of a National Youth Project funded by the Ministry of Education, which focuses on the doctoral education of social sciences in world-class universities. Recently, she has obtained a project funded by Shanghai government, which will explore the quality assurance of graduate education in Ontario.
